The Brand Plan
The Bridal Collection is Denver's premier bridal destination, stocking a huge range of gowns in a store that has been lovingly and stylishly curated.
The Bridal Collection was involved in early screenings of "Say Yes to the Dress", and the store owner, Lynn wanted the website to reflect the same feeling that the brides felt when entering the gorgeous store.
Working with Lynn and her team, we first went about refreshing the brand assets and pulling together a cohesive brand palette of colours, fonts and art direction.
We re-introduced a refreshed look and consistent application of imagery, fonts and colors. This redesign aimed to align the store’s online presence with the interior look and feel of the physical store.
An important element of the redesign was to incorporate a unique and authentic “Colorado Vibe” to the site’s imagery. As a family owned business serving brides in and around Colorado, the use of The Bridal Collection's real brides in Colorado's stunning landscape was one way to differentiate the store’s web presence from its competitors, as well as establish it as a proud local Colorado business.
Where possible, brides who have shopped at the store are featured in the imagery across the site. In addition, two distinct store collections - House and Couture - were introduced to the site. Again a real TBC bride was used as a model for these collections. The collections are each shot against a different back drop in the brand’s colors - a subtle visual differentiator of the two collections.
Tracey was such a joy to work with.
She was able to translate what I had been envisioning for our brand into reality, when no one had succeeded to my satisfaction before.
I looked forward to our time together collaborating on branding, design, and our website redesign. And I am looking forward to continuing to work with Tracey in the future.
